Absolutely love this place! It actually did relieve me somehow Give yourself a try and walk into this bookstore~ You will find your own treasure inside🧜🏻‍♀️ Excellent place for gift! And I bought myself a little notebook with fantasy cover omg it’s just so gorgeous!!! If u are a Middle Ages fan, u gotta check out all the notebooks design! It’s just like a piece of art!!♥️ I never write a diary in my lifetime but this beautiful notebook makes me wanna record down every little moments of myself as a secret diary🧝🏻‍♀️ Come check out this place u will thank me🧚🏻‍♀️!!!

Planet Books Mt Lawley: I am totally amazed by how fantastic this Book Store is. From the moment you walk up to the store you are greeted with such an elective brilliant selection of everything! I haven’t had an experience of pure delight and inspiration from an outlet for years. All outlets these days are the same sort of things and you rarely find a place that has fantastic customer service from both staff members. I am a stage 5 qualified retail worker and love it when you have real good customer support , that are honest and trustworthy people, who know how to handle a customer’s questions and help. I will be telling everyone to go there. You have to experience it to understand how amazing this place really is. Thank you to the staff that helped me and thank you for making me feel so special. I am inspired. Thank you

Fun little book store with loads of interesting books, knick knacks, gift ideas, etc. We always have a good time browsing the books. The range of books is ok. Lots of books dedicated to progressive ideas such as LGBTQIA, feminism, and polyamory, and mysticism such as Wiccan and tarot cards. A whole section for erotic books. Plenty of secular humanist self-help and self-affirming books and cards.

What a gorgeous little treasure-cove this shop is!!! Every nook and cranny overflowing with trinkets and diaries and quirky little gifts for others or oneself!!! I spent a lot of my time sieving through the tables lining the front aisle, searching out novels in which to lose myself over coming days. The shelves are well organised and easy enough to navigate! Service was okay, a little "cooler" than I'm used to.....but I wasn't really bothered by the people aspect ....the book aspect won my heart! Will be back again!

If you like to read, or just like the feeling of book stores and pretending that you can read, than this is a place that will cater to both of those needs. Whilst I wasn't planning to visit any book stores on my visit to Mt Lawley, planet books caught my eye, and then stole my heart. There was such a veritable smorgasbord of books to cater to all tastes. So many quirky ones that I hadn't seen before but had a good chuckle at. I particularly enjoyed a tea towel which had the truest words I have ever read about pizza (photo attached). Friendly team, beautiful space, plenty of great books. This gets a solid 5 stars.

An excellent book shop. One of the OG's of bookshops in Perth. Anyone remember Planet Video? The annual sale in June/July unmissable for any bibliophile. Recently published, hardback titles 75% off! Great bargains will be found.
